KOKER PART WAYS WITH CHOCOLATE CITY

It appears rising Nigerian musician Koker has left record label Chocolate City, after many years with them.

Nigerian singer Koker has quietly part ways with Chocolate City. The singer's exit from the MI Abaga led label became obvious a few days ago when he dropped his latest song featuring Falz under his own 'Koke Boy' imprint as against the usual Choc Boy imprint.

All information about Chocolate City on his social media handles have also been changed to his 'Koke Boy' movement.

Though the singer and Chocolate City are yet to officially speak on his departure from the label, it is confirmed that the singer has indeed moved on but maintains a good relationship with the label. Koker got signed on to Chocolate City in 2015 and released singles like 'Do Something', 'Kolewerk', 'Bokiniyen' and 'Wavy'.

However, this is not the first time Koker has been plagued with rumors that he has left Chocolate City.

In November 2017, when asked if he left the label, he said: "does it look like I'm not with them anymore? There is no truth to any rumor whatsoever. My selling point is simply about me being myself. "
