In the run-up to the Copa del Rey duel between Atlético Madrid and Real Madrid, the Spanish capital woke up with a banner near Los Blancos training ground in Valdebebas reading, 'Madrid hates Real'. Next to it hung a mannequin from the bridge with Vinicius's shirt on. Truly vile to anyone with sense.
Vinicius responds after Madrid derby
The '20' returned to being the protagonist in the capital derby, responding on the pitch. With stoppage time already up and the rojiblancos on the canvas, the Brazilian added a gloss to the final score, making it 3-1. That ensured Carlo Ancelotti's team certified their ticket to the Copa del Rey semifinals.

Once the match was over, the Brazilian posted a message on his social media accounts as a clear response to the disgusting gesture of the morning.
