The All Progressives Congress Youth Forum (APYF), has commended President Buhari and Nigeria’s security forces for their swift response to the abduction of the Dapchi Girls, which led to the release of 101 girls on Wednesday, March 21.

Part of the statement read: “The rescue of the Dapchi girls attests to the commitment of President Buhari and his government to protect the lives and property of all citizens.
“Our security forces have also shown that they will do all that it takes to secure and bring back all our abducted girls, whether in Dapchi or Chibok - this government will remain relentless until every last girl comes home.
“Moving forward, as a nation, we must all remain united against terrorism in all its forms. We must not lend credence to the conspiracy theorists and their theories and we must not join in the propagation of stories that will fuel the negative impact of the insurgents. This is what they want, hence, our condemnation of Boko Haram and all its activities must remain absolute.
“On its part, the federal and state governments must work to ensure that all education institutions across the nation receive the necessary security so that the abductions of our young brothers and sisters does not reoccur.”
Similarly, the APC has hailed the federal government for the return of the schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram.
In a statement sent to surehelpz.com by the national publicity secretary of the party, Malam Bolaji Abdullahi, the party said the prompt release of the girls “is another solid demonstration of the political will of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led APC administration to secure the lives of all Nigerians."
