The Peoples Democratic Party has condemned President Buhari's statement where he said Nigerians "who feel they have another country may choose to go."
They learned that the PDP described the statement as unpresidential, defeatist and characteristic of what it called failed leadership. With the statement, the party said the President spoke like someone who had lost sense of responsibility towards his citizens.
The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan, in a statement in Abuja on Wednesday, said President Buhari, in saying that Nigerians, "who feel they have another country may choose to go", had further confirmed that "he is completely insensitive to the plight of our citizens and has no solution to the myriad of problems his incompetent and disorganised administration has caused our nation. "
