Wow: Riyad Mahrez scores spectacular free-kick against Chelsea, picks out top corner
The Algerian winger opened the scoring in the FA Cup third round clash with a stunning strike in the 23rd minute.
With his wonderful left peg, he curled home a sensational hit that picked out the top corner, leaving Kepa Arrizabalaga with absolutely no chance in goal.
He has now scored in three separate games against Chelsea, having netted Man City's winner in their Premier League clash on Thursday.
He also scored in their 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup last November.
Shortly after Mahrez's free-kick, the Blues were awarded a penalty following a VAR review when Kai Havertz was adjudicated to have handled inside the box.
World Cup winner Julian Alvarez made no mistake from the spot, slotting home to double his side's lead.
Man City made it 3-0 after Kyle Walker set up Phil Foden, who poked home from close range.
