Chelsea star Enzo Fernandez has played every minute of the Premier League action for the Blues since his record-breaking deadline day from Benfica.  The World Cup winner has shown obvious glimpses of his quality but the Blues are yet to really see the Fernandez that dominated the world stage in Qatar.

 Undoubtedly his best moment in a Chelsea shirt came against West Ham at the London Stadium.  In an impressive first half for the visitors, Fernandez picked out Joao Felix to score his first goal since joining on loan from Atletico Madrid in January, with that goal the only one scored by the Blues in February.

 Time must be given to the 22-year-old to allow him to settle in and adapt to his new surroundings but there is not much patience regarding that, especially as he cost Chelsea a club-record £106million.  There is one midfield star at Stamford Bridge yet to play with Fernandez though, and it is the man the club see as the perfect partner for him.

 As per The Guardian, Chelsea are keen to see Kante and Fernandez alongside each other once the former returns from injury.  His contract situation also looks to be a problem close to being resolved as the club are now very confident Kante will sign a new contract, football. London understands.

 Having Kante in the team, given the type of all-action midfielder he is, could certainly help Fernandez, although Ian Wright believes there is another Chelsea player Graham Potter could draft in to help.

 They have a lot of creativity Chelsea in what they do.  I think Enzo is going to be a really good signing for them but then what would be the point of having those two guys who do attack [the full-backs], to put the ball in to who?  Wright told The Kelly & Wrighty Show, via The Chelsea Chronicle.

 Now whatever you're saying about Aubameyang and whatever you think about Aubameyang, he is a goalscorer.  If you're going to get those two back fit now [Ben Chilwell and Reece James], you get him up there and all of a sudden James has someone to whip it into, Chilwell has someone to whip it into.

 You have Fernandez who can find him over the top, there's so many things I was thinking about watching that game thinking about how this could go right with them.
