Chelsea said a key reason stopping Christian Pulisic and Victor Osimhen from transferring

Chelsea once again failed to capitalize on getting more possession and many chances that they frustrated in a 2-2 draw with Everton. It was the first half-case of deja vu for Graham Potter, who held his ground and cut through the Toffees without working for Jordan Pickford

Now, as they have scored two goals in their last three matches, Porter's men have been penalized for defensive issues, but there have been other offensive changes to the team

It was surprising to see him get the nod, given his lack of playing time and seemingly leaving the club at the end of the campaign. The USMNT star feels more natural playing a dual role as a number 10 in a 3-4-3 formation, but he hasn't had the results he was hoping for this season

He is one of the hottest players in Europe and won't come cheap, but Chelsea have already experimented with finding new ways  to keep prices down. Last year they were prepared to offer swap deals to their players, but this did not happen, but it was a testament to Todd Boli's desire to innovate in the market.

Now, CalcioMercatoWeb says it wants to do the same for Nigerian attackers. Pulisic, whose future does not seem to have anything to do with SW6, is said  to have made an offer to Napoli's Luciano Spalletti and his team to take Osimen's lower price.

Pulisic himself received offers from fellow Italian clubs Juventus and AC Milan last year, before attracting interest from Newcastle and Manchester United. A move to Napoli with a summer cleanup is entirely possible but so far unlikely due to one key condition

 Chelsea have found it difficult to transition from underperforming players in recent years due to high salaries, and Pulisic may be no exception.
