Robert Lewandowski seeks to emulate the legends of Barcelona throughout El Clasico

Despite its recent form, Robert Lewandowski has enjoyed great success for Barcelona this season. The leadership of La Liga paid a lot of money to sign it from the Munich, Bayern last summer, but it has already been to repay with goals

Lewandowski scored 25 goals in every competition, including 15  La Liga, where he is currently the top scorer. He hopes to add to that on Sunday night when Barcelona hosts Real Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou
Lewandowski scored against Real Madrid earlier this season in the final of the Spanish Super Cup, where Barcelona picked up their first trophy of the campaign. A victory in El Clasico would do much to add La Liga to their spoils.

It will be Lewandowski's first Clásico at home  and if he scores, he will become one of the Barcelona legends to score in the first match against Real Madrid at the Camp Nou

Players such as Diego Maradona, Ronaldinho, Luis Suarez and Neymar have all scored in their El Clasico debuts at  Camp Now, while players such as Lionel Messi and Romario have scored multiple goals in their first home game against Real Madrid. He scored a goal and showed an even better run.

Lewandowski is keen to become one of those greats on Sunday as Barcelona appear to be 12 points ahead of them in the La Liga title race.
