In order to replace Sergio Busquets, Barcelona is running out of time.

Sergio Busquets joined Inter Miami on Friday, following his former Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi, who had previously declared his intention to join the MLS franchise.

Busquets ended his career with Barcelona after the conclusion of the 2022–23 campaign, despite Xavi Hernandez's desire to keep him with the team for at least another year. It has resulted in the requirement of signing a replacement.

Successors to Busquets have been associated with a variety of names. Joshua Kimmich and Martin Zubimendi are the front-runners, but Barcelona will find it very challenging to secure either player this summer.

Marcelo Brozovic has also become a target, even though MD claims Inter Milan wants to sell him as Davide Frattesi of Sassuolu has been targeted as a replacement and needs to be signed as soon as feasible.

Saudi Arabia has shown a great deal of interest in Brozovic, who Inter values at €25 million. If Barcelona doesn't act soon, this may ruin their chances of signing him.
