Real Madrid extends Dani Ceballos' contract until 2027

Dani Ceballos' Real Madrid contract has been extended through June 2027, the Spanish team announced on Friday.

The previous contract for the 26-year-old Spain international was slated to expire the following week.

In 120 games over four seasons, Ceballos has guarded the Madrid jersey, participating in 11 trophy-winning campaigns, according to a statement from the club.

In extending his deal at the Santiago Bernabeu, Ceballos joins defender Nacho Fernandez and midfielder Toni Kroos.

After acquiring Jude Bellingham, Madrid now has a variety of options in the middle of the field. Veteran Luka Modric is also expected to stay, as Spanish media outlets are reporting that he will agree to a contract extension next week.
