VIDEO: Real Madrid defeats Barcelona in the Clasico thanks to Jude Bellingham's outstanding play.

At the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Montjuic, the first Clasico of the season concluded in spectacular fashion with Real Madrid emerging victorious after a dramatic late winner.

After seven minutes, the hosts took the lead and never looked back. After Ferran Torres and Ilkay Gundogan attempted a one-two inside the Real Madrid penalty area off David Alaba, the German international made no mistake to slide past Kepa Arrizabalaga and score his first goal for Barcelona.

Fermin Lopez and Inigo Martinez both struck the crossbar as Barcelona had opportunities to extend their lead, but the Blaugrana were forced to pay for those lost opportunities as Real Madrid equalized in the second half

Jude Bellingham's 25-yard goal beat Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to reward Los Blancos, who had started to control the action in the second half. Despite this, the Barcelona goalkeeper will feel like he should have done better.

Real Madrid emerged victorious in the end, as both teams battled for a late goal. In what ended up being a fantastic Clasico debut for the Englishman, Bellingham scored his second goal of the afternoon from close range.

Real Madrid has reclaimed its top spot in the La Liga standings as a result of the outcome. Barcelona is still four points behind their Clasico rivals in third position.
